ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN SCREEN ACTING

Our Advanced Diploma provides an immersive training experience that strengthens your acting skills and helps you develop an intimate connection with audiences using Film & TV as a medium.

The academic design across the year follows a multidisciplinary teaching practice that helps actors deepen their understanding of various worldly acting techniques as well as science of body movement, voice and creative thinking practices, and apply such learning to deliver impactful performances in front of the camera.

This multi-semester, one year programme is suitable for individuals with prior acting experience either in professional/amateur work, or through participation in prior acting workshops or short courses. It requires the individual to follow a meticulous audition and interview process, and admits focused & talented individuals capable of transformation and grooms them to deliver their craft at the highest professional level.

TERM 1

The first semester of the programme focuses on self–exploration, helping actors accept and connect with themselves. The actors will be encouraged to let go of all inhibitions, build confidence, develop creativity and condition themselves to have the necessary intellectual, physical, and emotional readiness, cultivating the
mind-set of a performer.
